STOOL
CORA

A stool with the beauty of shawls in poetry.

Product description

Cora Coralina, a poet born in the city of Goiás in 1889, was famous for producing a literary work that was both powerful and simple, courageous and self-effacing.
The Cora line, in the chair versions with and without arms, stool and armchair stands out for the backrest made of vertically woven fabric, a resource that creates a texture that subtly mentions the old wool shawls, that the poet brings with her in several of the photos we have of her. The low backrest also makes mention of her laid-back and welcoming personality. They are pieces that evoke our affective memory, of living with our grandparents, their houses, lacy blankets and coffee in the teapot.
